| Your post exhibits ignorance based on a political ideology. If you read Liberian newspapers (as I do quite frequently), you would know that the colonizing American-Liberians lost their power under Samuel Doe`s regime, and are now just plain Liberian citizens. Of course, many of them are in power (duly elected in free elections) because they are educated, and many tribal Liberians are not. But this is due to the 14 year civil war, which destroyed communications, and now, Liberia, devastated economically is trying to create education for all. Ellen is at the forefront of this effort. |
