Now, the claim for "moral equivalence" is also false, since Israel pulled out of Gaza but has received thusands of missiles in response. The missions into Gaza are to stop the missiles and bombs, but for people like Chris, there is no point in discussing logic or cause and effect.
However, it is not his fault entiurely that there is public perception like this. The leftist government has allowed the daily barrage to become a status quo, and now this is part of the "reality". By leaving a military attack on ice, when they finally are forced to wage war, Israel will be seen as the aggressor, since the kassams will not be viewed as anything new .. |
