It would be interesting to see the statistics for other groups too. Unfortunately, I know that newspapers are not into giving numbers for people to analyze on their own, for that, I`d probably have to buy a report from the National Council for the Child.

So, let`s say in the past it was only 5%. This means that in the last, lets say, three weeks, there have been 25% more new requests. This really is bizarre. However it should not be taken as more than what it is. Perhaps if one where to compare this with the data for other groups, one would find that there sometimes are blips like this. One has to take a look at the longer run to see anything. What happened in the last two, three weeks, should not be considered to reveal much. |
