It was the rightist, and their expansionist visions that placed them there and it was the same lot who made empty promises to them about what they could expect whenn they returned to Israel. Hot air, empty promises. The right did that, not the left. Surely, this same deception is operating in Israels ploys regarding its colonies in the WB. Its inability to organise and provide for the much larger number of colonists who will have to be returned to Israel with the formation of a Palestinian state is ann important factor in Israel`s doing all it can to sabotage any international plan that requires it to return to the lines of June `67. It knows that logistically and financially it simply cannot resettle that number of people and provide them with compensation when the internqtional community will demannd that they pay compensation to the hundreds of thousands of Palestinians they displaced. |
