Why all this paranoia? Look at Northern Ireland. The English reached a peace agreement with the IRA. The IRA disarmed and that was it.
If you talk to the Palestinians (some are posting here on this forum) then you will find that they are not armed to the teeth uber terrorists (Israeli propaganda) but simply a people trying to achieve justice and freedom.
Mind you, any peace agreement would be implemented in stages and there could even be an arbitration court with respected Israeli, Palestinian and international judges to settle differences in interpretation of the agreement.
Unfortunately I fear the upcoming summit will prove once and for all that the Israeli`s are simply not interested in peace (I do hope I am wrong). |
