After visiting Auschwitz Birkenau that the most moving point for him was seeing the suitcases piled high in Canada with the names of the owners written on them.

I think that is the horror of the Holocaust you cannot comprehend the scale of the killing it is just not possible.

It is only when you personalise an individual person by seeing his name can you fully understand, and of course the Nazis didn`t even catalogue the children.

And even typing that last bit proves my point. The book is merely a catalogue of names showing a 20 day period in just one place of death.

You cannot comprehend it, it is incomprehensible and to some unbelievable.
