Anybody who thinks that he can predict the future is a fool. We are gambling on the hope that a peace deal will include sufficient protection for Israel that the whole of the mercaz won`t be a target for missiles as the Gaza border now is.
I see no lack of courage in having such hesitations. I see foolhardiness in striding towards the unknown carrying every person in Israel into danger we`ve faced before waving a flag and pooh poohing hesitations.
A failed peace deal can plunge the region back into horrible war. Theoretically to be absolute for peace seems the good and brave thing to do, but I`m absolute for common sense and peace together. |
