| A bit confused there, Ricardo. There is no chqnce that Prince Charles will become, in any sense, the next Archbisop of Canterbury. Unless of course he should decide on entering Holy Orders and be ordained to the preisthood, then he might have a chance. The Monarch is the Head of the Church in Englannd as Defender of the Faith, a title conferred upon King Henry VIII by the pope after Henry confronted the heresies of Luther, only to fall into schism himself annd soon after into heresy under Cranmer. This will soon be ameliorated when the See of Canterbury is reconciled with Rome and becomes again part of the Catholic communion, not seperate from but in union with Rome. |
