We should resist making or accepting false charges.
We are better served to discuss the rationale for sanctions in terms of Iran`s actions, which many of us are hopeful the IAEA will peacefully clear up in a matter of time.
The US is attempting to throw a broad net of antagonism onto Iran by escalating the earlier UN sanctions regarding the Iranian enrichment program. Now it seeks a non-UN coalition of the newly willing that will use sanctions as a tool in the much larger issue of the failed Iraq war.
Iran has done very little to deserve any of the sanctions. When the IAEA completes its investigation, Iran is entitled to move forward with the entire nuclear fuel cycle just like the French, Brits and Americans are.
Iran has no nuclear weapons program. Iranians are proud of their accomplishments in nuclear energy and the Iranian people should not suffer any further unless and until all sanctions matters are discussed in a non-confrontational atmosphere.
Peace.
