| Democracy is a rule of majority - that is all, pure and simple. Nothing else. If majority wants to establish racist laws, for example, - it is still remains a democracy. On another hand, if dictator abolishes racist laws it does not mean that he/she abolishes dictatorship. Attaching anything to the simple definition of democracy is the source for ambiguity, hypocracy and eventual abolishment of the democracy, when not majority but miinority starts to DICTATE the laws. |
