Haaretz wordsmiths carefully put the onus on the right, as if the right chooses to feel collective GUILT. However, the real question is why the left feels the need to place collective BLAME on the right.
Surely, the events of Gush Katif showed that the overwhelming majority of the right (including settlers) is not willing to resort to violence to accomplish its goals, and it is a mere fringe element which resorts to violence.
This editorial is symptomatic of Haaretz`s push to continue to DELEGITIMIZE the right rather than having the left and right work TOGETHER to solve national problems. |
