Well, since you wish to compare israeli democracy to that of its neighbors, allow me the following comments:
1- Israel could never be a democracy as long as it claims to be a country for jews, there is a contradiction in terms here.
2- lebanon on the other hand, though its democracy is flawed in many aspects, have a proper seed for true democracy.
Lebanon is for lebanese, jews, christians muslims and atheist, and does not need to import citizen from all over the world as israel does.
Your democracy in israel is actually a mix of demagogy and hypocrisy. |
