| `Education for democracy must encompass debate about Israel`s control over the lives of Palestinians deprived of civil rights; it must relate to the fact that Israeli democracy suffers from an essential flaw.` israel has not taken the judea and samaria to control the lives of arabs populating the area. it came as a result of the defensive war and these territories are essential for the security. if you want to call the arabs who live there `palestinians`- fine. but their civil rights are of lesser importance to me than the basic rights of israelis. what about sending them over to where they belong- jordan. their civil rights will be truly preserved over there. |
