| Polybios, I know that I`m slowly but surely getting a bit older, but I think my eyes are still good enough to have read in this article that Sarkozy was talking about ISRAELI creati- vity. In your post I saw more or less 2-3 demands on Israel and about 7-8 on the PA. And although I would agree to most of your points, I`m afraid that`s probably not exactly what Mr.Sarkozy had in mind (even if I can`t speak for him...). I assume he was rather thinking about the implementation of the "Geneva initiave" (or at least some- thing similar). I`m afraid this time Israel won`t get away with "baby-steps" (who knows, maybe she will...) But if she wants some (real) help from the West on Iran, Israel probably will have to put a bit more on the table.... |
