| The relationship in percentage terms is similar to the Arabs claims when it comes to Palestine.Hardly any of the so called " Palestinians " are decendents of many generations of " Palestinians ".Many are at best first generation decendents of Egyptians and others who came to work in Palestine during the Mandate period.The influx of Arabs seeking work on kibbutzim at the time is well documented.The analogy with the extra territorial camps is that Arab nations have through a policy of apartheid prevented these displaced persons from gaining citizens rights,even after 60 years.No wonder they claim they are 10th generation Palestinians and no wonder Abbas is supporting this potential huge " Aliyah " .Israel is thinking of mass conversion to create Jews so why shouldn,t Abbas convert millions of displaced people into Palestinians.Quite how all this will be sorted out at the upcoming conference is hard to imagine but I wish Olmert the best of luck.The Africans should be returned home. |
