Throughout millenia, the Jewish people were strengthened and enhanced by the inclusion of converts from their regional populations.
Just take a glance at the variegation and diversity of Jews in Israel itself! How could one deny such a "fact-in-the-flesh"? That we Jews have intermarried and adopted gerim throughout our history. This phenomenon of closed minds and closed gates, is it a response to pogroms and persecutions or a smug disposition that glaringly declares,"WE are creation`s crown. |
