| You probably don`t know that Jack, but a lot of that money was from the US and most of it never reached the recipients, and ended up in Shamir`s (and friends`) pockets. You also don`t know that up until 89 Russian Jews could actually choose the country of their destination and had it not been for Shamir, who convinced the US to stop accepting those people, most of us would have not ended up in Israel anyway. Of course that wouldn`t have the influx of billions of dollars... |
