i must sa i amaazed by this forum...lets see...i moved to canada when i was 13. from the ussr. went to a jewish school, summer camp, did the yearly "walk to jerusalem" collected money for various israeli organizations (rebuild the north, idf wounded, orphans etc). as far as i know, trumpeldor, jabotinski, dayan, peres, etc, etc, are from russia. how dare some of you paint an entire alyah with such colors? mafia? are famous israeli criminals russian? don`t think so. how about well publicized embezzlers, drug dealers that sold teir soul for money to the hezbollah? russian? don`t think so. oh, maybe igal amir was russian? or rabbis that say that you cannot pick your nose on shabbat?
