| I won`t stick up for Ann Coulter. She is like the radio "shock jocks". Her business is saying outrageous things. Only the foolish would take these people seriously. Having said that, her remarks have more than a little truth if seen in the proper light. Religion is the cause of 90% of the worlds violence, brutality, and intolerance. The reason for this is that religion is always misused be radical elements within each religion. Would this be less of a problem if the world were all the same religion? Yes, of course it would. It wouldn`t matter if it was Christian, Jewish, Muslim, or any of the others. There would still be those radicals who would misuse the religion for their own benefit, but it would not be on the same magnitude as it is with many different religions. Coulter just stated the obvious, but she did it in a way to get attention, which was her goal. |
