Israel made the mistake of bringing in under the Law of Return many who were not only not Jews but were in fact hostile to them. Some have even made it into the IDF and police forces. You`ll find anti-Semitic web sites, neo-Nazi gangs, and anti-Semitic tracts for sale. Jews *have* been beaten up and called "dirty Jew", synagogues have been defaced and Jewish cemetaries desecrated. Israel has yet to fully appreciate the problem in its midst. |
