| Unfortunately this is not the only type of crime against Jews there. About a year ago a religious young woman was abducted in a parking lot in Lakewood, dragged into a van and raped repeatedly. It was widely publicised in the local newspapers and on TV news at the time. She was let go the next morning. There was a huge uproar and outrage in Lakewood`s Orthodox community. Eventually the guy who did it was caught, but it sent shock waves through the Lakewood community for a long time. |
