| The typical shortsightedness of one commentator to the attacks in New Jersey proves how important the State of Israel actually is to Jews around the world. No one has "blown up a bus" here for quite some time due to the expertise and dedication of the military and police. No one can say the same thing about the US anywhere. Here trouble is anticipated and dealt with, no one can say the same for the safety of any minority anywhere on US soil--much less Jewish ones. Attacks will continue and grow worse due in no small part to the burgeoning Hispanic population in the US that already shows signs of intolerance and racial hatred. Anti-semitism is not an isolated event anywhere in the US and has not been since Leo Frank was lynched in the 1920`s and anyone who thinks otherwise or thinks it is safer there is delusional. |
