| Hopefully, this attack will be prosecuted as a hate crime, presuming the attacker wasn`t some random nut out to swing his bat at anyone, not just Jews. An aside--Carrying baseball bats around was a de rigeur fashion statement while strolling in the East Village of New York in the early eighties. Unfortunately, one could never tell whether it was meant as a defensive or offensive statement. Thus, I chose not to carry. |
