Taglit was established as affirmative action for diaspora Jews whose identity is at risk, it was not conceived as a boondoggle for haredim who reject notions of Jewish peoplehood and the premises of the Zionist state! Let the Yeshiva world pay for those trips and keep government dollars out of it. However if the government is to pay for part it let them visit the cemetary at Degania and The Etzel museum in Tel Aviv along with Rachaels Tomb and the Kotel.
