There really are no limits to the nonsense this country gets to.
Taglid is mostly a program to supply Jewish American youth with free trips to Israel. Jewish youth of which the majority doesnt care about this country, definitely not enough to come and live here and who see Taglid as a nice way to spend the summer. Their parents hope that through Taglit their kids will find a nice Jewish (American!!!!!!)partner and all will be happy.
A miniscule number of Taglid hitchhikers will live in this country in the end, and a not much bigger percentage will become involved in what is happening here. And if they already do, they will probable from afar cheer on the American youngsters that do come here and terrorize the Palestinians in the Occupied territories.
And now they want to add to this waste of money a new dimension: bringing youngsters here who grow up hating and resenting Israel, whose parents do not recognize this country and often act against it wherever they can. Well done!! |
