| At present, he is the ONLY person Israel has to at least TRY and deal with. The world community SEEMS to at least try and help him. Hamas at present? INPOSSIBLE to deal with. Leaders for the Palestinians have to come from WITHIN . No ONE can create leaders for them. If something concrete can be cobbled out of working with Abu Mazen, I say at least TRY. If some accomidation can take place,out of these talks, with the Arab countries on board, perhaps some momentum can be obtained. SOMETHING has to give, and soon, or the region will go up in smoke.
