| I love how everyone has to mention that the dome is the "3rd holiest site in Islam" but NO ONE, not even Haaretz, mentions the FACT that Jerusalem is and has always been the HOLIEST SITE TO JEWS throughout our history. When the Jordanians captured east Jerusalem,not only did they ban Jews from the Wall, but also demolished synagogues and used graves as toilets and the tombstones to pave roads. When Israel reunited Jerusalem in 67`, did they blow up the dome?..NO! I know a soldier who was specifically assigned to protect the dome (right after the war) from crazies who wanted to destroy it. Israel has arrested and prosecuted Israelis who have tried to destroy it. Compare this with the Arabs...do they arrest their radicals? Do they arrest people who blew up synagogues and defiled tens of thousands of Jewish graves that were thousands of years old? NO!! Yes, Israel might put a limit to who can pray at the dome now, but people are still allowed to pray there nonetheless!(Continue to #2) |
