The point made by Aeli is excellent:
"Perhaps Ha`aretz & the Int`l Herald Tribune should consider excluding such [sex and pornographic] advertisements from their own pages - that would be a good start."
I would like to point out the little known fact that the pornographic industry penetrated and sometimes took over the media years ago (in *all* journals in one way or another). This is documented at all levels. With all that this implies (in terms of financial ties, and so on).
There is a book called "the sexual lives of journals" published in France that describes this in details in French journals and magazines. |
