The female suffrage was lagging tragically behind that of male in all Western world. Your stated modern feminism barely started by the mid-sixties of 20th c. The massive organized prostitution in European and American cities on the other hand started about by middle of nineteenth century with the dramatic Industrialism and urban migration of rural male population to the urban centers. Number of other causes was instrumental too, but the one you indicate is a pure chronologically untenable invention promoted by the religious agendas critical of the modern society. Stating the "growth of homosexuals" sounds a bit like Iranian president in Columbia Univ., will you excuse me. Do you imply that the amount of Jewish women in European bordels in the end 19th c. was due to the "modern feminism" affecting the Jewish community more than any other? |
