The Jordan Valley is not Palestinian territory. No document that has the status of an instrument of international law grants the Jordan Valley to the Palestinians. On the other hand, the League of Nations` MANDATE FOR PALESTINE of 1922, a ratified instrument of int`l law, clearly states that all territory west of the Jordan River (that includes, the Jordan Valley, the West Bank and Gaza) should be used for Jewish settlement for the purpose of building a Jewish State. Also, this Mandate was confirmed by the UN CHARTER (Article 80), another intrument of int`l law. Neither of these 2 documents were ever rescinded, replaced or nullified. They are valid today! The UN Resolution #181 (Partition Plan of 1947) is not an instrument of int`l law, never having been ratified by the Security Council. You are wrong (Elshout), arguing, perhaps, from the position of wishful thinking or having been brainwashed by your typical leftist, agenda-driven, anti-Israel Dutch news media.
