Just horrible to read about the accident and it`s victims, my sincere condolences to the bereaved. Israel has got to maintain its roads. The blistering sun damages the roads and not enough is done to improve them. Why? lack of funds, so collect road taxes as they do in europe, either by weight of the car of the horse power. In Europe work on roads is done all year round. In Israel, once the rain season starts, you will see even more - deadly - accidents across the country. These could have been avoided if roads were maintained. People won`t mind paying more (road)tax if lives can be saved. Of course, not all accidents can be blamed on the bad roads, people are often careless too.
