| another contributing factor is that most of the cars in israel are the small 4 passnger europeon subcampact cars that are built more for in city driving and that when you are driving these tiny cars, if you lose control at high speed, the car practilcally disintegrates, whether they hit something or not. also these cars provide little if any protection againnst other vehicles or solid objects that one hits- combine this with the poor driving habits of israeli is a recipe for disaster. ( in this case however any type of car would probably not make a difference when you are in a head on collision with a truck). |
