| Driving in Israel brings one face to face with stupidity,bad training,bad road markings,insufficient police activity and a lack of speed cameras.Daily cars roar past me on route 2 exceeding the speed limit and often police just ignore the fact.Where are the speed cameras and the law enforcement.Draconian fines and car confiscation need to be introduced.Police should be retrained and required to act against speeding motorists instead of just driving around with flashing blue lights.Tens of thousands of motorists who continually endanger themselves and others need to be banished from Israeli roads. |
