Note also that the palestinians have always refused to do an autopsy (demanded by Israel) which could have identify the origin of the bullets.
Many judicial actions were taken in France for the release of the original tapes, to be studied. Chirac has always blocked (personally) France 2 (a state TV station) form doing that.
