| Unlike some earlier settlements, these settlements are reportedly on Jewish-owned land. So there is no theft issue in play. These settlers should be told in no uncertain terms that they would become Palestinian citizens if a deal is rdached with the PA. On the plus side, the PA should be forced to accomodate them and afford them the same rights Israeli Arabs enjoy in Israel. If the settlers really insist on staying. Forcing the PA to deal with them, and them to deal with the PA, would be a good start to deeper peaceful coexistence. |
