| From what I understand, it wasn`t 1000s but actually 100,000s of Irish who volunteered to fight for the British against the Nazis. How many other "neutral" countries at that time had so many volunteers against the Nazis? The number of Irish pro-Nazis was well outnumbered by anti-Nazis. Such facts may or may not make the Irish philo-semites, but it certainly puts them in my good books, for what it`s worth... |
