| I lament that people like him dominate the defacto and now right-wing political discourse of the Orthodox world. I lament that HaAretz, which is supposed to be a liberal newspaper, highlights personalities like him in its English edition, which it would never do in the Hebrew edition. I do not understand why someone like him allows his children to study at elite "liberal" universities like Yale and Brown if he has such comtempt for them instead of learning in Yeshiva. It the denounciation of "liberal" universities just mobilizing rhetoric for the ignorant masses or merely hypocracy by any other name? Finally, I lament that Yale does not give its undergraduate students the option of living in single-sex dorms. |
