America has a long term interest in securing the oil producing states in the mideast. Israel has a long term interest in acquiring as much land as possible in order to expand the countries borders. These two countries have employed every method except the truth in order to further their causes. They rely upon nationalistic "dupes" amongst their population to provide vocal support in the name of patriotism. America accuses Iran of supporting anti-American elements in Iraq. It should be remembered that America supplied direct support to Iraq in a war of aggression upon Iran in the 1980`s in which over half a million Iranians were killed. America and Israel not only fear Ahmadinejad personally, but they also fear the truth. The studends of Columbia are capable of listening to the opponents of America and Israel and making their own judgements without becoming dizzy from government spin.
