I love it. The world`s foremost conflict getting solved on the sidelines of the world`s foremost house of sloth, corruption, and politics: the United Nations. I live and work right around the UN; every day I see these European and African "ambassadors" hopping in and out of their chaffeured cars while they find out inventive ways to ignore UN scandal and ineffectivess (the Asian and American ambassadors seem much less fond of these cars, to their credit). They have very serious looks on their faces as the hop into their town cars to take their wives and children shopping.
It is my deepest desire that the Israelis and Palestinians find true, lasting peace and that the UN "ambassadors" get real jobs at delis, subway stations, etc... |
