| Is there a valid and reliable profile of terrorists? As far as I know, there is none. You don`t single out a real or potential terrorist at border controls by those prelisted sometimes provokingly stupid questions ("What is your profession?" "Why do you read these books?" and so on ...) asked by Israli youngsters who just left school and have no experience with life. Not few of them are simply insecure and therefore tend to overplay the game. Foremost they are acting denerving without beeing effective. As a grown up you need good nerves to stand this premature power-show of greenhorns. The older and more experienced ones usually are acting relaxed, much more normal and they seem to know, that this partly debile control-questionary is not a kind of bible. So if you are entering Israel see that you are controlled by older ones, they know their business and are causing much less unnecessary trouble without loosing the target in the sights. |
