| Unfortuantely, if you just come for a visit now and then and you aren`t one of the people hassled, it looks that way to you. I`m an American woman, with 3 small children (one is a baby) and my husband is Arab Israeli. We were held at the border for 3 hours and subjected to very degraded questioning. This is the treatment I get whenever I go and come back to Israel. They won`t let you leave Israel without getting it cleared by the Ministry of Interior, so they already know who you are, where you work, where you live...everything. There is no other reason to treat my family this way other than pure racism. Surely my 1.5 year old is not a terrorist. |
