| Bobby what are you talking about? Iran & Iranians are proud to have their Jewish community which has been there for 3 millennia! I see you live in DC so you must have encountered Iranians in your vicinity.If you lived in the midwest, I`d understand your mentality, but for God`s sake you live in the capital of the world.I was having dinner w/ an American Jewish friend of mine last night, did you know that he told me how astonished he was to see that the Iranian Jews HERE in the US consider themselves first Persian and second Jewish?I didn`t know that wasn`t true about other countries, cept for the US(apparently, American Jews also consider themselves first American and second Jewish)-althouhg I can think of a couple of exceptions,ie. my GodFather Ben Jabo.But truth is that Iranians have no problem with Jews.Incidentally, even in the corrupt and dispecable regime of the mullahs,Jews have representatives in Iran`s Parliament & they live better & freer lives than their muslim counterparts! |
