Thank you for providing a safe haven for your country`s cats. Each year I visit in December-January from America and cringe at the disparity in the treatment of dogs over cats.
Being a cat lover, wherever I travel I cannot help but make friends with the local felines. Regarding this matter, when traveling through Israel I always see healthy and well-fed dogs on leashes, in restaurants, being loved and treated well. However, with the cats,all I ever see are skinny and sick looking feral cats at the beach, eating out of garbage cans, and homeless.
