If it is true that Israel bombed arms destined for Hizbollah, then good for them. This is what an intelligence service and a military are supposed to do. If this is true, then what is the result of the attack? Is Hizbollah now ready to be attacked and eliminated due to lack of supplies? Will Iran stop sending supplies due to their vulnerability? In the end, Israel is still headed for the same showdown with Iran. Syria and Hizbollah and perhaps Hamas will still have their parts to play. The desert bombing may have been a lark for Israel, expecially if the details are true, but it also provided information for the other side, which presumable they will use in future.
