"CNN said the strike, which apparently targeted an arms transfer from Iran to Hezbollah through Syria, left a large hole in the ground." - Haaretz

I hope the mission was not made to achieve such a trivial result as hitting an arms shipment. You don`t risk valuable life and equipment for trivial purposes, when you know that another shipment will be coming tomorrow no-matter what. But you never know with Israel anymore. During the Lebanon war, paratroopers and helicopters were sent far to Baalbek. It was to show the Hizballah IDF capabilities, as if it made the slightest difference. (The troops encountered resistance and were in danger which required quick extraction.)

What if the IDF is living on the glories of its past, trying to recreate them, and in the meantime not doing enough for the current situation? I do hope this is a false report; otherwise, we are in big trouble.
