In 2003 , I was travelling by car from Jericho to Bissan ( Beit She`an) . I saw the Israeli Jordan valley Jewish Settlements tilling over the plastic coverings ( hot houses) after the harvest. The ground was littered with shredded white plastic. previous shredded plastic had broken into small snow flakes that the wind blew and such flakes gathered in ditches alongside the road . From far away , it appeared like snow banks. Disgusting.
I also saw the open dumping of untreated sewage from Jewsish settlements in th valleys near Nablus . Jerusalem streets are filled with black plastic bags. Black plastic bags are snagged in trees and fluttering in the wind. For a moment it appeared that the black plastic bag might be the national flag of Israel..... |
