| I recycle extensively, have replaced most household bulbs with compact fluorescents, and commute to work using the city`s Metro. I consider myself something of an environmentalist, yet still use plastic grocery bags. Why? Firstly, they`re reused as garbage bags. (After all, one has to use *something*.) But all that are NOT used are recycled through the grocery store, which has large bins for that purpose. Life is a balance. |
