Terrorism prevents Israel to put garbage pins in every street corner, in public buildings like dep.stores, cafes, restaurants, bus or -railway-stations etc. like in Europe.
Bombs and explosives can be easily planted in them. This is one of the reasons why Israeli streets are covered with garbage.
A smart, considerate person carries the garbage home on oneself, where one can throw it into one´s own garbage pin. ALSO: at least in Scandinavia, different garbages MUST be separated and placed into separate pins in every household. For ex.: hard stuff garbage like bottles, cans, batteries, plastic cans in one pin, food stuff in another - many are composted for fertilization, especially one-family houses with gardens. Then there is a third pin for paper-garbage; newspapers, magazines. This paper garbage is being re-cycled and re-used for making paper again. |
