| Perhaps israel shoud show some respect for British Jews and refuse to play the Israel England match on Shabbat. The Royal Family and H M Government have always shown respect to the Chief Rabbi -- Lord Jakobovits was considered Baroness Thatcher`s chaplain -- and respect for Judaism. Most major Orthodox Jewish schools in England receive government support. All of the royals and prime ministers have given their support to various Jewish causes. They are far less critical of Jews and Israel than many Haaretz writers! |
