Title:Jake, Urusalim is the name used in the Amarna letters
Name:hala
City: GPPState: MI
The name Urusalim is what appears in the 300 Amarna letters from the vassal-king of that Canaanite city to Akhnaton. The Israelis later changed the first part to Yeru= in the Western Semitic dialect. Akkadian is the origin of Aramaic, which was the spoken language in the time of Christ. At any rate, there is no archaeological evidence to show what happened during the supposed occupation of the city by the Israelites circa 1000BC. Even Isreali archaeologists will tell you that there is no historical evidence for the existence of David and Solomon.
